OTHER ACTIVITIES OF INTEREST

Parish of Saint Monica, Atlantic City, NJ: Due to Covid 19, there have been many changes to our annual Wedding of the Sea celebration. Our beloved Festival has been cancelled for this year. However, on Saturday, August 15, the Wedding of the Sea Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 Noon at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church, 1409 Pacific Avenue, Atlantic City. Although it is the largest Catholic church in the city, the attendance will obviously be very limited according to the gathering restrictions in place in New Jersey at this time. Reservations are required to attend. We anticipate that reservations will soon be at capacity, but inquiries can be made by calling 609-345-1878. Even those who cannot attend the Mass will be able to view the ceremony (tossing of the wreath) on the beach at Saint James Place around 1:15 PM.
