Girl Scouts bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world. Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges—whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike or advocate for climate justice, or make friends.
What We Do:
Girl Scouts is the preeminent leadership development organization for girls. And with programs from coast to coast and across the globe, Girl Scouts offers every girl a chance to do something amazing. We're so much more than just cookies! Our girl-led curriculum focuses on developing the whole girl. This includes learning about how to respect themselves and others, to learning about how they can make a difference in our community, to establishing goal-setting, developing an entrepreneurial spirit through the cookie program, and learning several leadership skills based in STEM, the outdoors, social-emotional learning, and so much more! Each Girl Scout experience is unique and determined by what the girl herself wants to learn. Our program is open to all girls from Kindergarten through 12th grade. The Girl Scout year runs from October 1-September 30 every year.
