Spanish Scholarship Fund

The Spanish Scholarship Fund was started in August 2006 in an effort to help Hispanic children in the Archdiocese with their Catholic school tuition. This year, the fund will help over 500 Hispanic children at a cost of more than $520,000. You can help these children and get 90% of your donation returned through PA tax credits. REAL Tutoring Program

Join your neighbors and fellow parishioners and make a REAL impact in the life of a second grader at a local elementary school. Administered by Partners in Outreach, REAL: Reading Excites All Learners is a one-on-one tutoring program built to support at-risk readers in early grades. Helpers of God’s Precious Infants – Vigil for Life

Join us as a Volunteer Helper of God’s Precious Infants in a Vigil for Life on Saturday, November 4.  We will attend the 8:00 AM Mass at St. Agnes Parish in West Chester, celebrated by Rev. Forum on End-of-Life Issues

The Respect Life Committee of St. Peter’s Parish in West Brandywine will have a forum on end-of-life issues on Saturday, November 11, 10:00 AM-4:00 PM. Lunch will be provided. The following topics covered: determining ordinary vs. extraordinary care; advance directives; pain relief, palliative care and hospice; determining brain death and organ donation; and practical information on writing an advanced directive and choosing a hospice. Candlelight Remembrance at All Souls Cemetery

All Souls Cemetery in Coatesville will hold a Candlelight Remembrance on Monday, November 29, at 6:00 PM on the cemetery grounds. The service will include luminaries in honor of our loved ones during All Souls Month. The service will be led by Fr. Fitzpatrick from St. Peter Parish, with refreshments and live music from the Bishop Shanahan High School chorus.
