REAL Tutoring Program
Join your neighbors and fellow parishioners and make a REAL impact in the life of a second grader at a local elementary school. Administered by Partners in Outreach, REAL: Reading Excites All Learners is a one-on-one tutoring program built to support at-risk readers in early grades. Join the REAL team and help a second grade student with their reading skills on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, or serve as a substitute as openings occur. No experience is necessary. Forum on End-of-Life Issues
The Respect Life Committee of St. Peter’s Parish in West Brandywine will have a forum on end-of-life issues on Saturday, November 11, 10:00 AM-4:00 PM. Lunch will be provided. The following topics covered: determining ordinary vs. extraordinary care; advance directives; pain relief, palliative care and hospice; determining brain death and organ donation; practical information on writing an advanced directive and choosing a hospice. Candlelight Remembrance at All Souls Cemetery
All Souls Cemetery in Coatesville will hold a Candlelight Remembrance on Monday, November 29, at 6:00 PM on the cemetery grounds. The service will include luminaries in honor of our loved ones during All Souls Month. The service will be led by Fr.
