REAL Tutoring Program
Join your neighbors and fellow parishioners and make a REAL impact in the life of a second grader at a local elementary school. Administered by Partners in Outreach, REAL: Reading Excites All Learners is a one-on-one tutoring program built to support at-risk readers in early grades. Join the REAL team and help a second grade student with their reading skills on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, or serve as a substitute as openings occur. No experience is necessary. Help a Parishioner Win a Scholarship
Parishioner Luke Shannon submitted a video for the 2023 Breakthrough Challenge Scholarship and has been selected as a finalist. From now through September 20, finalist videos will be posted on the Breakthrough YouTube channel and Facebook page, where people are free to watch and respond to the videos. The votes are tallied based on the number of likes and reactions the videos receive. To watch Luke’s video about black holes, visit the YouTube and/or Facebook link below. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School 50th Class Reunion
There will be a 50th Class Reunion for graduates of John W. Hallahan High School on October 14-15, 2023. We will meet at Logan Square at 4:00 PM on October 14 for pictures, immediately followed by Mass at 5:15 PM at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul. Candlelight Remembrance at All Souls Cemetery
All Souls Cemetery in Coatesville will hold a Candlelight Remembrance on Monday, November 29, at 6:00 PM on the cemetery grounds. The service will include luminaries in honor of our loved ones during All Souls Month. The service will be led by Fr.
