Volunteers Needed for English Instruction

The Sisters of Saint Joseph Welcome Center needs your help! We are looking for volunteers to teach some of our classes for adult immigrants. Opportunities are available for online and in-person English and/or citizenship preparation classes. (In-person classes take place at our Center in the heart of the Kensington section of Philadelphia.) Classes will begin in September. Teaching experience is not required. Mass and Healing Prayer Service

The National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown will hold a Mass and Healing Prayer Service on Friday, August 4, at 7:00 PM. The service will include Praise & Worship and Exposition of the Most Blessed Sacrament. This is a special opportunity to encounter Jesus and invite the Holy Spirit to touch you deeply and heal those emotional, mental, physical, relational, or spiritual places that need God’s healing graces. All are welcome! Magnifest

St. Mary of Providence Center in Elverson, PA is pleased to announce the return of our music festival, MagniFest, on Saturday, August 19, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM featuring headliner and national recording artist Marie Miller. Enjoy a day filled with music and praise! This festival features performances from many local Catholic musicians. Food and beverages will be available, and you’ll be able to browse merchandise from different vendors. Mass will be celebrated at 5pm. Men’s Weekend Retreat at Malvern Retreat House

The annual Nativity BVM Retreat, a traditional retreat for men, will take place at the Malvern Retreat House on the weekend of September 8-10. This is an ideal way to wind down summer, kick off fall and get closer to yourself and to God. The theme for the weekend is Finding Peace, Healing and Hope in Today’s World. There will be a 50th Class Reunion for graduates of John W. Hallahan High School on October 14-15, 2023. We will meet at Logan Square at 4:00 PM on October 14 for pictures, immediately followed by Mass at 5:15 PM at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul. Catholic Women’s Conference 2023
